My name is Bosco Maltez. I’m an artist, poet, photographer born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. My artwork focuses on the city I was raised in as well as “lines,” in my poems and my photography, which represent paths that we take that lead us to where we are meant to be. This series of black and white photography Is a representation of my experience in Los Angeles. Treating my work as a representation of myself, I juxtapose the lived experience of the streets with the beauty and backdrop of the city. The forms I create respond to the architecture and manipulate dimensionality and perception.
A nice publication. Telling stories with photos. Touching. Imprisoned all around, lone soul. And of course the photo, No poets or vagabonds.
